Biosketch Dr. Uchechukwu E. Vincent

Dr. Uchechukwu E. Vincent is the Ag. Director, Directorate of Educational Services and Training (DEST), Redeemer’s University, Nigeria and the Head, Redeemer’s Institute of International Studies (RIIS). He is an Associate Professor of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, in the Department of Physical Sciences of the University; with research interests focusing on dynamical systems and chaos theory.

He was a Research Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH), Germany as well as the Prestigious Newton International Fellowship, jointly awarded by the Royal Society of London and the British Academy. Following his two year stay at Lancaster University as A Newton Fellow, Lancaster, UK, he is now a Distinguished Visiting Research Fellow of Lancaster University, United Kingdom. Dr. Vincent was also a recipient of the Young African Mathematician Medal for his original contributions in Mathematical Physics, by the African Mathematics Union (AMU) in 2009. He has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and is listed in Who-Is-Who in the world (2011). He is on the Editorial Board membership of some renowned international journals.

Having functioned in different administrative capacities in the university system for fifteen years, and now as Director of DEST, Dr. Vincent brings his wealth of accumulated university administrative trainings and experiences to manage the affairs of DEST in which the international collaborative programmes constitutes a part.
